Tour Description:

Rainfores Express is all about keeping it quick and short, with only an hour to explore the outskirts of Jaco. Travel outside of town, crossing into the rainforest, along dirt roads and trails. Climb the riverbed to a tiny roadside waterfall great sport for a photo opportunity! Turn back and check out a  lookout of Jaco and the Pacific Ocean, and finally return back to the shop, hopefully to plan another longer adventure for the following day.

What to Wear

We recommend the use of close-toe shoes (People use sandals, but we highly recommend that you don’t) as the first and most important choice of clothing for the tour. Also we are off-roading which means we will be getting dirty, so any clothes you don’t mind to throw into the wash afterwards (No white clothes, they will be ruined).

What May We See

Without a doubt we have all the possibilities to see many of Costa Rica’s wildlife during our adventures into the rainforest, but we cannot guarantee that you will spot them. As we are traveling trails frequently traveled and our vehicles make noise specially in bigger groups, it keeps certain wildlife on the outskirts of our trails just outside the line of sight. This won’t rule it out though as frequently we come across many times of birds such as toucans, scarlet macaws. We’ve also spotted on our rides monkeys, sloths, and deer.
